Terms of Service

A)  PRICE & PAYMENT TERMS

Available Products:

  • For all available products, a deposit of 100% of the quoted price is required to be paid in order to confirm the order. The prices are exclusive of transportation and shipping costs. Orders must be paid in full prior to shipping, including any shipping, handling, special crating and packing, storage, taxes and service charges.

Custom Orders:

  • Nomad Studio offers its clients the option of customizing existing products and creating bespoke pieces tailored to their unique requirements. The clients will be responsible for any supplementary costs incurred due to the alterations requested in the custom products.

  • Custom orders will be booked on 50% advance payment at the time of order placement. The payment can be made via cheque/ direct bank transfer. The outstanding payment will be settled after the product is complete and before the delivery is processed.

  • Once the designs and specifications for a custom order have been settled upon, the technical drawings will be produced for an additional cost and sent for your approval and signature at an additional cost depending on the complexity of the design.

  • Onsite Measurements for Custom Orders:

For Lahore:

 We can send a team of experts to take precise measurements of the space where the furniture items are to be placed for a service fee. Should the client decide to provide the dimensions, we will follow their instructions. However, any size variations or adjustment issues, in this case, will not be Nomad Studio's responsibility.

Outside Lahore: 

For large-scale residential & commercial projects, Nomad Studio can send a team of experts to take accurate dimensions of the space for a service fee. The cost for this visit will depend upon the location of the site. For smaller orders outside Lahore, the client must provide us with accurate space dimensions and detailed layout information to ensure the furniture item fits perfectly in the designated space. However, Nomad Studio will bear no responsibility for any size variations in this case.

Shipping charges for custom products will be determined based on weight, size, and delivery destination after the completion of the product.

Lead Time:

  • The lead time of our products is typically between 8 to 12 weeks, applicable from the date of the advance payment and order confirmation. However, the Lead time may vary for products with intricate work such as straw marquetry, eggshell marquetry, feather marquetry, etc.

  • All quoted completion and delivery dates are estimates only. We shall not be liable for delays in completion or shipment or default in delivery for any reason of force majeure or for any cause beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, (i) government action, war, riots, civil commotion, embargoes or martial laws, (ii) our inability to obtain necessary materials from its usual sources of supply, (iii) shortage of labour, raw material, production or transportation facilities or other delays in transit, (iv) labour difficulty involving our employees or others, (v) fire, flood or other casualty, or (vi) other contingencies of manufacture or shipment.

  • In the event of any delay in our performance due in whole or in part to any cause beyond our reasonable control, we shall have such additional time for performance as may be reasonably necessary under the circumstances. Acceptance by you of any goods shall constitute a waiver of any claim for damages on account of any delay in delivery of such goods.

Payment Method:

  • Once payment is made, please take a screenshot of the payment receipt against the purchased item and send it to us through our email (info@nomadstudiofurniture.com) or on WhatsApp via (+923096884488).

 

B)   SHIPPING AND STORAGE

  • Nomad studio employs a variety of shipping methods to facilitate our clients nationwide. However, some areas may not be in service zone of our shipping partners. Please also note that due to the nature of some items, overland delivery may not be possible. Such items can only be delivered via express delivery service.

  • Products are inspected by us prior to release to the shipping agent to ensure that your order is in good condition, complete and ready for shipment.

 Doorstep Delivery Only:

  •  Nomad studio only provides doorstep delivery in line with the policy agreed upon with our shipping partners. The shipping partner will not be responsible for unloading, unpacking, and setting up the furniture in your home or dispensing away the debris of the packaging.

Shipping Charges:

  • Prices are exclusive of transportation and shipping. Charges for transportation and shipping are proforma and will be included on the invoice for the final balance.

  • The shipping charges of a product are calculated based on its volumetric weight and delivery location and are communicated at the time of the purchase.

  • For customized products shipping chargers will be communicated after the completion of product according to its volumetric weight, size delivery location.

Delivery Address:

  • Customers must provide the accurate and complete address and contact information for smooth order processing and delivery.

  • Nomad studio shall not be responsible for any delays in the shipping or misplacement of the product due to incorrect delivery information from the client’s end.

  • The courier company will only make 3 delivery attempts once the delivery is underway and the client is not available to receive the order at the given address, the client must pay the additional redelivery cost.

  • In case of change in delivery date from the clients end they must inform us 72 hours before the delivery is processed so we can manage the delivery accordingly.

Estimated Shipping Time:

  • We have opted for the best shipping providers to ensure we offer our customers a seamless shipping experience. But sometimes delays do happen due to unforeseen situations such as weather or political situations which may hamper the delivery.

  • The shipping process is contingent on providers' availability and logistical resources, delays may occur, and some services may not be available in all areas.

Damaged Delivery:

  • Upon receiving the shipment inspect the cartons and crates carefully. If there is any visible damage to the packaging or crating, take photos and report it on the Bill of Lading.

  • Cartons and crates should be unpacked under personal supervision. Inspect all merchandise carefully and retain the original packaging until you are satisfied with the delivery.

  • In case the product is damaged on the outside, the client is required to notify the delivery personnel and take a photos and videos of the product and email it to us at info@nomadstudiofurniture.com or on our official WhatsApp number and call our customer service within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Once the product is delivered, there is no return/policy exchange policy. If any delivered furniture has defects, Customer Service will assist in repairs or exchanges as per the company policy. Customers cannot change their mind upon delivery.

  • Please note that it is the customer’s responsibility to check that your items will fit through doors, staircases, and elevators before you place your order. Product dimensions are included in the Product Information on our website.

Storage:

  • A monthly storage fee of 10% of the value of the merchandise must be paid for goods that are not released for shipping within 14 days of production completion. The storage fee must be paid in full together with all other outstanding amounts before the order is released for shipping.

 

C)  REFUND & EXCHANGE AND CANCELLATION

Nomad Studio does not offer returns or exchanges on our products.

Damaged or Defective Item: 

  •  Upon receiving the delivered product, the client must thoroughly inspect the product. In the event of a defective, damaged, or inaccurate product, notify us within 24 hours after deliver of the product and provide accompanying visual documentation, such as photographs or videos, of the detriment. So that an evaluation of the issue can be conducted, and an appropriate remedy may be offered.

  •  A product shall not be deemed eligible for either return or exchange If the damage has been reported after the completion and inspection of the delivery. 

 Non-returnable Items: 

  • Custom purchases are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

  • The responsibility to provide us with accurate and precise measurements for the customized product rests entirely on the customer.

  • Prior to placing an order, the customer must ensure that the dimensions of their selected product permits easy transport through doorways, staircases, and elevators before making a purchase.

  •  We do our best to provide all relevant product information, including their precise measurements, on our website. We also do not accept returns if the customer finds the dimensions of the product to be unsuitable for their intended space after delivery.

 Exchanges:

  •  Nomad Studio does not offer product exchange. For additional information, kindly reach out to the customer service department.

 Refunds: 

  • Upon careful evaluation of your claim, our customer service team will contact you within a period of seven working days to inform you of its acceptance or rejection and discuss the way forward in accordance with our company policies.

 Cancellation of Order: 

  • After an item has been shipped, cancellations are not possible. Custom orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of the order placement and a full refund of the advance payment will be made.  If an order is cancelled after the specified time, the deposit will not be refunded.
